Terms
Terms & Conditions
This page is a working draft pending an Australian solicitor's review. The terms below reflect KT's engagement intent. The formal contract sent at engagement signing supersedes any apparent conflict with this page.
Who we are
KINGTRADIE (ABN 53 642 140 313) operates from Brisbane, Queensland, and provides marketing services to trade businesses Australia-wide.
Use of this website
You're welcome to browse, share, and link to anything on this site. Don't scrape, mirror, or attempt to circumvent rate limits. Don't submit the contact form with false information or in a way that's designed to harass.
Engaging our services
Engagement starts with a strategy call and is locked via a written one-page scope document. Scope, pricing, timeline, and deliverables are confirmed in writing before any work begins. The scope document supersedes any informal estimate.
No lock-in contracts
Every KINGTRADIE engagement is month-to-month. You can cancel with 7 days written notice. Pre-paid work to date is non-refundable; any prepaid balance for unscoped future work is refunded in full.
Ownership of work
At launch (or cancellation), you own:
- Your domain
- Your website source code (pushed to your GitHub at handover)
- Your Google Ads account
- Your Google Business Profile
- Your content (copy, photos, video)
KINGTRADIE retains the right to display unredacted work in our public portfolio unless a client-supplied NDA preceded the engagement.
Fees and payment
Fees are quoted in AUD plus GST. Custom websites are invoiced 50% on engagement, 50% on launch. Retainers (SEO, Google Ads management, hosting) are invoiced monthly in advance. Overdue invoices accrue interest at 2% per month after 14 days.
Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have that can't be excluded under that law.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KINGTRADIE's total liability for any claim arising out of an engagement is limited to the fees paid in the 90 days prior to the claim. We don't accept liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive losses.
Confidentiality
Information shared during an engagement (financials, strategy, customer data, internal systems) is held in confidence and not shared outside KINGTRADIE without your written consent.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
